On a side note, I’ve been busy with videos, (I’m soon-to-be professional director!). I entered in the contest that the CW held (Making the Cut) and my video made it into the finalist round! Even if I don’t win the internship, this is fantastic news.

The most I will charge for a commission will be $50USD, and the pricing will depend on how big and detailed the print will be.

Just made a page titled, “Links/Affiliates.” Yeah, yeah. I know. Very original. So far, only friend’s sites are affiliates. But! I’m hoping that it’ll grow.

You may know him as Ash aka Doctor Badass from the hit series Supernatural. I am a helper on that site (which is a big WHOOP for me!), and am the video maker and a forum admin.

Hey everyone!

I wrote a page about writing (Writing for Dummies: by glolinde) and just published it. It is about writing an outline. It includes the setting, the plot, the conflict, the characters and the theme.

Anyone and everyone can go ahead and use it for their writing. However, please don’t claim it as your own. I spent a couple of hours on it. And, even though it is nonfiction, it is still my baby.

Okay, I’ve GOT to take a break from my freaking epic music video. It’s driving me NUTS!

And, I’m insane enough as is. Don’t need any help with that, thank you very much!

So, I’m going to work on a video to the fantabulous series Doctor Who. This will be the first time I’ve made a Doctor Who music video, and it’s my ultimate favorite series. I love everything about Doctor Who; The music, the stories, the characters, EVERYTHING . And, I can’t say that about any other series (and, this includes Supernatural!) besides Battlestar Galactica, Space: Above and Beyond, and Babylon 5.

Russel T. Davies is THE REAL MASTER! I bow at the alter of Davies! *bows at alter*

The song that I’m going to use is ‘Gravity of Love’ by Enigma. Perfect song for this series, I think! I love the song… and it’s a new favorite. Like I said on my FB, though. If you see the official music video, watch it a few times. It doesn’t make sense at first, and it’s kinda weird, but after a while, it’s like… Oh! I get it!

Also, they (they being the choir) say (the operatic parts), ‘O Fortuna, velut Luna’ in the beginning. It means, ‘Oh Fortune, like the moon’ or ‘Oh Fortune, changeable like the moon.’ It’s an excerpt from Carl Orff’s ‘Carmina Burana,’ or more commonly known as ‘O Fortuna,’ which makes it even MORE epic!

So, I’ll work on that for a while so I don’t go certifiable.

Yup. That’s it. Just wanted to vent about that for a little while. Like I said… le video is driving me nutty.

Oh! I got a few requests from friends of mine. Lisa (the one who requested ‘We Don’t Want To Be Heroes’) asked if I could do one with the sappy moments from SPN and a Castiel one. Of course, they are both by Darren Hayes, so I’m happy with that! Especially with the Castiel one; First time I will have a video focus around a character instead of a whole series. And, I’m a Cass girl, so it works out. LOL

Tina (the one with the artwork) requested quite a few, actually! It’s going to take me about a whole year to get all of hers done. The main focus for these vids? Castiel, Cass, Castiel, and… OH! Cass! Which comes as no surprise considering her Twitter username is MISHAGASM (I love you, Tina. I really, really do! *JABBA THE HUTT GLOMP!*). The songs are by boy bands, which I’m usually against, but it is a request. And, they’re actually okay. Not good, and not bad. Just… okay.

So, that’s it. Can’t really think of anything else.

Oh… mono? Yeah. I officially hate it. Thinking about starting a fan page on Facebook that says, ‘We hate mono!’ I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy (and, trust me. I’ve got a few).

Crap! I can’t believe how long it’s been since I updated! Been a whole YEAR! (Haha… sorry. You can blame my genetics for that)

What’s new?

Yeah. I got nothing. Pretty much been same ol’ same old. Been doing prints, making music videos, filling out applications for colleges, etc. There are never enough hours in the day! I have so many plans, and the human body needs to sleep one-third of their life away. Wish I was a Cylon.

During the month of… November? Is that right? Anyway, I received a music video request from someone who is now a close friend of mine. She’s awesome, funny, works at a police station… and she loves SPN as much as I.

And, what’s even better? She knows who Darren Hayes is! I couldn’t believe it. I’ve been a fan of Darren Hayes most of my life. I love every single one of his songs, and I don’t believe I’ve ever heard something bad from him. She requested a music video set to the song ‘Hero’ by Darren Hayes featuring Supernatural.

At first, I wasn’t all for it. Didn’t like the song, and I didn’t feel any love for it. After some time of debating with myself, I decided to go ahead and do it.

She was thrilled. Even with the amount of time (a month) and she was fine with it. Here’s the video.

I love the vid. I’m so pleased and proud of it that I could fly off to the moon! And she was so happy with it. I now love the song, and also have a good friend thanks to this vid. The price?

It didn’t take me long to start up a new vid. I remade one of my past vids in the attempt to kick my own ass, which I did on epic proportions. I’m very pleased with this one as well.

I am now working on another vid (not for SPN, surprisingly enough). Don’t want to disclose too much info, but I will say that I will be known for this one! I already have a deleted scene from it. And, yes. I’ll post it up… as soon as I’m done. Which, at this rate, will probably be when Spring is here. *nervous chuckle*

That’s pretty much it, though. I’ve been sick since mid-January with mono. No idea how I caught it. Just know I did. And, man! This sucks!

Hey’lo!

So, pretty much has been boring with the creativity stuff as of late. Been spending most of my time writing… at least until a family emergency came up. Then, I just hit a wall. As in running at it full speed without knowing that it was there.

Needless to say, it hurt when I hit it. Got a goose egg on my brain and everything. Now, I can’t shake this God forsaken headache of mine. *sighs* Because of this, I wasn’t able to finish NaNoWriMo. Ever tried typing while staring at a computer screen with a skull splitting, mind blowing, soul shattering headache? *shudders*

In the mean time, I’ve been trying to come up with prints. However, I haven’t come up with anything that I feel worthy of putting up on here. They all suck. Out. Loud. I’ve posted stuff on my DeviantArt; Mostly book covers for other authors.

That’s pretty much it. I’m sure there’s more, but I can’t think of anything.

Lets see…what is going on.

It’s been pretty boring, actually. Been doing a lot of schoolwork that makes my head hurt (curse you, math!). You know, I never realized how much I didn’t like school; I always thought that I was the kid that loved it. But, now…I know better. Rather take a beating, but I have to do it. Bet that I make all mums proud after saying that!

I’ve also been busy with making music videos. I. Can’t. Stop. Making them! I love doing it!! Just one, after another, after another. Here’s a recent one that I made for the kick ass series Supernatural.

On a side note, I will be going to Vancouver (Canada) late February to early March. I’m so excited I can’t even see straight! Get to see my family again, get a nice tattoo, and go to VFS (Vancouver Film School) to an introductory thing that their doing. It’s all good. Now, I just need to get some money to go there. If anyone knows anyone that would be willing to buy some of my prints, that would be awesome. I really need the money; Something like $400 just to get there. *sighs* I’m the suffering artist. So cliche, but there it is.

I’ve also been doing a lot of writing; over 12,000 in my book, which is awesome. NaNaWriMo starts here shortly and I’m excited about that. Can’t wait; I’m determined to win this year.

Hey’lo,

Just a quick update: I am at 10,000 words in my book. Only 40,000 to go until I’m at the minimum requirement. It may seem like a lot, but I’m happy.

On a different note (well, not so different), NaNoWriMo starts in 86 days. You remember the feeling that you had before you took your first dive off the diving board at a pool? It’s a mixture of fear and excitement that is so exhilarating you stand there for a few moments before you force yourself off. The feeling that grips your heart and squeezes so tight you have problems breathing.

Or how about your first kiss? Or just a kiss from that special someone. Your soul nearly implodes which causes your knees to shake. After you walk back inside your house, you lean against the door and feel like you could fly away to the Moon. To Mars. To Jupiter! You feel as though you could do several laps around the universe.

That’s how I feel right now. I am so excited to do NaNoWriMo this year. It isn’t the feeling of achievement that you get when you win (although, that’s a big contribution) is the competition. The thrill of competing against several hundred, maybe even a thousand, people around the world. Then, when you win, you feel like you could anything. ANYTHING!
